Psychologist’s notes: disappointment? No…

Was it worth fighting back?

How to survive deep disappointment, even despair?

What to do when you are scared and tired?

Why did all this happen to us?

These terrible questions tear your heart to pieces and drive your mind to a standstill. You avoid them in yourself, go them away, squeeze them in any way, and do not give up, but they grow in you like an invisible enemy, in irritation, conflict, and nitpicking. They are exhausting and tiring. And quite often, they throw you into pain and illness, consuming your body with Covid, pneumonia and everything else.

It’s the anniversary of the war…

So, the disappointment of living for one year in war is more the truth and the norm than an anomaly or deviation. But the main thing is to know the cause and not to miss its consequences. Today, I will try to answer the most painful question about what would have happened if it hadn’t happened.

The psyche is inert. It is difficult to leave the familiar to adapt quickly to the new. So, the answer to the question of what would have happened if it hadn’t is clear 24 – we would have gone through all this, but through a political betrayal that most, especially 73 of us, would not have noticed. Subsequently, we would all find ourselves in a new economic, military, or ideological (the russians are some creative types) pseudo–alliance with contrived enemies from whom we would have to defend ourselves and necessarily go to war with or attack someone. It is the difference between the ideology of the Soviet Union and its successor – Moscow. Instead of investing in the welfare of their citizens, they invest in legal violence against these citizens. Because the leaders of these people have always been primitive bastards who gained power first by licking everyone’s genitals and arse, and then by total extermination of the one they licked. So, welcome to the ideology of masturbators, anonymous people, and later paedophiles in all possible interpretations of these concepts. I want to say that there is little choice. It’s either you or, you will be killed as a dissident.

So, was it worth it to fight back? The only answer is yes because then you would not have been able to live in what they would have offered you anyway. We would have destroyed myself.

How do you survive deep disappointment, even despair?

It is worth remembering that war is evil.

A healthy psyche never adapts to evil. Therefore, disappointment and despair are the reactions of a healthy psyche to circumstances to which it refuses to adapt. And it shouldn’t do.

These circumstances should be destroyed, eliminated, and never brought back into your everyday life state.

Nor should you seek tolerance in your heart for the enemy.

You don’t have to try to understand what is happening.

And under no circumstances should you look for explanations, justifications or reasons.

War can never be excused, so it is not worth investing in it. So, when the siren wails, pay attention! When you hear the lies, avoid perception. Take care of your mind – don’t clog it with excessive information. Take care of your heart – remember to act, join associations of people who take action and avoid those who only sympathize with talk.

What to do when you are scared and tired?

War scares, frightens, and puts you in a state of splitting without the right to reproduce. The stress of war will forever be embedded in our DNA.

So what can you do?

It is scary when it is hopeless, limited in time when they scare you and say it will be for a long time. It’s as if Muscovy is a bottomless pit. They say it has missiles. Its economy is perfect! No one has left it! The resistance in leopards is worth one enlightened man. Yes, this is all very frightening. But if you think about it, we have always been faced with this bottom of civilization. So, we should not be afraid of our loneliness in confronting pestilence. We are already acting, which means we are not standing. We are overcoming. And at this point, fear disappears, and courage takes its place.

There is fatigue. Physical fatigue. It is this fatigue that the Mordor is trying to awaken in Ukrainians. But he miscalculated. Ukrainians are calm about physical fatigue. Why? Because having lived in opposition for many generations, they are used to working very hard, even exhausting their bodies. So Ukrainians are not afraid of physical fatigue. Ukrainians have always overcome psychological fatigue in communication. That is why they are psychologically resilient. The worst fatigue for Ukrainians is mental fatigue. It is when panic, anxiety, discontent and hopelessness become an internal state that leads to insecurity, inferiority and insignificance, and consent to slavery. We need to work hard to overcome this fatigue. And the first thing to do is to always take care of your body and remember that excessive emotional reactions always stress it. So, your body needs to be cared. Remember what makes you feel good and give it to yourself. And the psyche does not like excesses. You don’t need a lot of fun or a lot of suffering. It is worth finding your measure within yourself and not loosing this measure in any more.

Why did all this happen to us?

There is only one answer – slaves did not die out, and a critical mass of free people was not born! So it turns out that slaves are doing a madness, and the free are dying. Slaves hide, and the free go to their deaths with a song. But we have one hope. Now, after 24, even slaves will give birth to free people!
