The methodology and principles of the school

The following essential principles apply to the work of the school:

  • Preservation of mental safety
  • Personal protection in the provision and reception of psychological help
  • Anonymity and confidentiality of psychological aid

Everything in the human mentality has a purpose. We cannot “remove” anything, clean it, redo it, or delete it. We can only “know” ourselves and understand that even what we do not need and give up – gives us a resource and an opportunity. The mentality is a self-regulated system that can quite clearly “construct” consciousness. This approach makes it possible to look for pathways, “approaches”, paths to the mentality, to consider the problem as a condition of development. A human being without the surrounding world does not exist, for only the people who surround us can give us the possibility – to be a human being. And it is everyone’s choice whether to be exactly human or a pathetic imitation of it.

The world always creates a human being. It changes his preferences, interests and pleasures.

The world always commits man, reconstructs his perception and tries to regulate his reality (for example, the actuality of neurosis or psychosis).

However, the world is never able to change:

  • a human being’s purpose is to evolve;
  • human life – the journey from birth to death with the overcoming of all crises;
  • Human nature – the desire for life by reducing the temptation to die and the desire for death by increasing the seduction for pleasure and achievement.

The technological strategy of the approach

The only thing a person can do ‘for himself’ is to recognise himself; ‘for others’ is to deny recognition; ‘for the world’ is to accept himself as part of it.

The human being is a self-regulated structure that is dynamic and ever-changing. Each round of technological progress will change the self-regulation strategy in the presence of an unchanging ‘anatomy’ of the human psyche. The external world and internal resources (constitutional physiology and the dynamics of human growth and development) condition the self-regulation strategy. The individual is defined, and his first design is created by the society in which he emerged.

Consequently, the technology of the interdisciplinary approach aims at studying the design given to the individual by his development and surrounding, reconstructing or “constructing the design” by one’s own efforts.

The interdisciplinary psychologist is a professional who assists in which psychological well-being and psychological literacy act as core competencies of the individual.

The basic concept of the approach is that “one is defined by one’s body, but not limited to it”. In the contemporary world, the ‘search for health’ is confusing, for health is defined by attitudes to the world and oneself.
