Between two worlds…

I spent ten hours crossing the joint Ukrainian-Hungarian border.

Everything is quiet, formal, and depressingly humiliating for the fifth hundred days of the war.
The most dramatic thing is that I stood for five hours on the bridge between the two states. Ukraine has released and Hungary is not letting in. Her faithful border guard walks, looks to see if we are standing, and moves away, from the occupied bridge between two worlds, as if from the plague…
Yes, the world that released it is a world in which almost two dozen rockets arrived on the night of May 30-1. Kolotiv is a caring neighbor.
The world that is shunned is an outpost of the European Union, which for some reason is closed to us.
It is not important, for those who live on the border, that my three-year-old son fell asleep in tears and was hungry.
And now there are deep doubts…
What is the value of democracy to the vassals of evil?
They are waiting for the fall of the world of Ukraine, which chooses every day of life and, with it, including the deaths of its best.
What awaits the European Union with such “members” who keep between two states people from the war…
Ultimately, I want to say one thing – they say that their leader and his people are drowning for rus”;%:n. No, they don’t say, they act with the rus”;%:n, treacherously declaring war on the Ukrainians, on the bridge between the two worlds.
So it turns out that Ukraine is the safest place for Ukrainians. Because if Moscow doesn’t throw missiles at the vassals, they are pushing the vassals into the moral abyss. They are waiting for their share of the pie… not realizing that Ukraine will stand to the last Ukrainian.
As history shows, they have withstood 200 years as much as possible, so we have experience – we will endure even now.

PS: I crossed the border at 0.30, having spent not 10, but 12 hours… the receiving side was empty, there was no traffic jam or accumulation to justify such a wait. The hybrid war is on…
