….This is the only thing we can thank the hybrid war against us for. In addition, I am now talking about not only open enemies on the battlefield. I am addressing those who are secretly in love with the racists and are waiting for their victory, wherever they are – in Ukraine itself or the House of Lords, or the Congress, or the Parliament of Ukraine! So, we Ukrainians are grateful to you for the fact that thanks to you, we became productive narcissists. No, not the Nazis you picture us as in your imagination! Not as chauvinists as you present us to the world! We have travelled this path! We have become those who do not focus on all those who are against, all those who are neutral, tolerant of peace with everyone in the world, all those who still support some form of racist psychosis – we have become those who ignore people like you.
Kyiv has become even more powerful!
Gone are the glamour and gloss.
Now there is depth, a symbolic desolation, and even a loss of desire. But all this can be seen only in the eyes of Kyiv residents. In their actions, behaviour and attitude to life, everything is clear, disciplined and without some complaints about the war. The only thing that annoys us is the shelling, which prevents us from working.
Ukrainians! Great and courageous!
Children are playing and talking to each other in the street. Kids are all living their lives, enjoying the world around them. Teenagers are reserved and serious. The young and the young are in a hurry – they have much to do! At coffee stops, they give flowers and hug each other. Those over thirty are all working. They protect their wealth and even multiply it.
What saddens me the most are the looks of fifty–year–olds and older. The faces of men, especially women, show a loss of emotion. Their faces are like wax – too sharp a look, faded colour, terrible fatigue and boredom for what they have lost – life. It seems that everything has already happened for them, and the war has put a stamp on the last epilogue of their lives. But despite their fatigue and depression, they are also moving, actively communicating and volunteering to help.
So have we become productive narcissists? Yes.
A narcissist is a person who is inward–looking and uses another without question for their purposes. He is focused only on his own goals and excludes any element of emotional attitude towards the one he uses. He plays a feeling but never lives it. He demands emotion but never gives it because he has nothing to offer. That’s why he is a narcissist. He only accumulates and pays little attention to the opinions of others. Yes, you may say, this sounds like a portrait of a modern successful person. That’s exactly right! Now the only question is how does he do it?
Productive narcissism, in my opinion, is when you can use all these characteristic manifestations (and, as you know, we are all narcissists by birth. There are just more traumatized and less traumatized ones) in the organization of your professional activity. And a narcissist cannot harm because he is focused on achievement. So, who is with you is his choice.
Unproductive narcissism is when you do all this for pleasure and do not get any practical result from such actions. You just destroy the other person and assert yourself! That’s all and nothing more.
Ukrainians have always been business people, but too hysterical and emotional. Ukrainians have always been able to use, but without a goal. Or they could think of something and run because there was one difficult and unbearable trait in Ukrainians – to please everyone.
Now we are different. Now we are not focused on love and acceptance. We are focused on liking ourselves. And for this, we are defending the world. Because the world is no longer productive and, unfortunately, has become schizoid and individualistic, where schizoid ness is identified with far–fetched values that no longer exist in nature. It is just that the hand of putin’s propaganda machine has not yet reached there to destroy even those far-fetched values.
The individualistic nature (not individualism – it’s different) is just a far–fetched conceit about one’s identity and power. Where is it? It is an illusion! Unfortunately, in today’s realities, the Buryats, Kadyrovites and other scum of society do what they want, and the UN only condemns them…
So, it’s good that we have now met ourselves. And we have no time for those who want to keep us insignificant and irrelevant. We have a lot to do!!!
And it’s true – we don’t want anyone to like us. Because, in general, no one needs to be liked, and it is not worth the effort.
